Rooted in People, Built with Purpose – A Heart Centered Lifestyle

I lead with a heart centered lifestyle. At the heart of everything I do, whether I’m feeding my family, teaching my students, or creating something new, is a simple love for people, and a desire to build a heart centered lifestyle rooted in purpose. If you asked me what I’m most passionate about, the honest answer would be simple. It’s People.

Home Is Where My Heart Begins

My family comes first, always. My husband is my best friend, and my three incredible kids (two grown and one still growing) have been and will be my whole heart forever. Some of my favorite moments in life aren’t big or flashy at all. They’re the quiet ones. Hanging out together on a Saturday night watching a funny movie, sharing a meal around the table, laughing at the little things. Those are the moments that really matter to me.

Everything I build in life and business starts there – with love, connection, and home.

Love Shared Through Food and Care

heart centered lifestyle

I’ve always believed that love shows up in the everyday things, especially in the way we care for others. For me, that often looks like cooking and baking. Feeding the people I love homemade food is one of my greatest joys. There’s something deeply meaningful about creating something with your hands and watching it bring comfort to someone else.

Fourteen years ago, when I found out I had Celiac disease, I could have easily given up baking the foods I loved. Instead, I chose to learn, experiment, and adapt – turning old favorites into gluten-free works of art. That journey taught me a lot about creativity and resilience. Sometimes passion isn’t about starting something new – it’s about finding a new way to keep doing what you love.

But creativity isn’t my only passion in a Heart Centered Lifestyle . Helping people is.

A Life Centered Around Helping Others

If I really think back, every job I’ve ever imagined doing even as a kid, was something that served people in one way or another. I’ve always been drawn to roles that encourage, support, or care for others. Even before I became a wife and stay-at-home mom, which has always been my greatest and most meaningful role, my work centered around helping others live with purpose people and feel their best. I worked as a massage therapist and chiropractic assistant, spending my days caring for others in very hands-on ways. Looking back now, helping people feels like a natural thing that runs through every season of my life.

Encouraging Growth, One Step at a Time

Through my online work – I still try to focus on a heart centered lifestyle. I get to teach and support students who are learning how to build something for themselves. Helping others build a life with purpose and balance is one of the biggest reasons I love the work I do. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching someone realize they are capable of more than they believed. I love encouraging people to take small, steady steps forward. To see that growth doesn’t have to be loud or rushed to be real.

I’m passionate about helping others learn how to build something meaningful online in a way that feels honest and sustainable. Not hype. Not pressure. Just practical guidance, encouragement, and real support from someone who understands that life and family still come first.

People often think online business is easy. But the truth is, it takes discipline, heart, and soul. It takes consistency, patience, and a willingness to keep showing up even on the quiet days when no one else sees the work you’re putting in. That’s why I care so deeply about teaching from a place of honesty and heart. Because I know how much courage it takes to believe in yourself enough to start.

Creativity That Grew With Me

I’ve always enjoyed being creative even when being creative isn’t easy. I usually have to put a lot of thought into it, but I enjoy it. I used to spend hours scrapbooking and making handmade cards, pouring my heart into every detail. As life grew busier and time became more precious, I realized creativity had to evolve too.

That’s how my digital creative path began.

My Etsy shop – Honey Bee and Willow – was born out of a simple thought: I didn’t want to stop creating just because life was full. I wanted a way to keep making beautiful things without sacrificing the time and energy that my family deserves. As well as still being able to show up for my RRR247 business and students. Moving into digital creations allowed me to keep that spark alive – and at the same time build something meaningful and sustainable for the future.

When Everything Points Back to People

The more I reflect on it, the more I realize that everything I love points back to the same thing. A heart centered lifestyle means helping people live with purpose and feel cared for.

Sometimes that looks like feeding them.
Sometimes it looks like teaching them.
Sometimes it looks like creating something that makes their life a little easier or more beautiful.

No matter the form it takes, my heart has always been drawn to encouraging, nurturing, and helping others grow.

What Success Means to Me

If I had to put my passion into one sentence, it would be this: Building a life with freedom and purpose while not sacrificing the things you love. To me, success isn’t about hustle or burnout. Success is balance. It’s loving my family well, supporting my students with heart, and creating beautiful digital work that brings value and joy to others.

My Hope for You

At the end of the day, I believe people are my true passion.

My hope is that this slow living heart centered lifestyle blog feels like a place where you can breathe, grow, and feel encouraged to grow at your own pace..
And I hope you leave believing that you can build something meaningful as well. Slowly, intentionally, and in a way that still feels like you.
